President Akufo-Addo has sworn in two new judges of the Supreme Court at the Jubilee House in Accra on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.[ads2]
They are Justices Barbara Frances Ackah-Yensu; and Samuel Kwame Adibu Asiedu.
At same ceremony, President Akufo-Addo also sworn into office the new Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Lariba Abudu and her Deputy Francisca Oteng-Mensah who are all lawmakers.[ads3]
He entreated the newly-sworn Justices ‘to bear in mind that the growth of our nation demands that we have a Judiciary that commands the respect of the people by the quality of its delivery of justice, as well as by the comportment of its judges.”[ads4]
