Akufo-Addo wants GES to reconsider ban on WASSCE students

President Akufo-Addo has directed the Minister for Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh to engage the Ghana Education Service (GES) on its ban on some fourteen WASSCE students.

GES last week banned some fourteen students from taking part in the ongoing WASSCE exams.

The students were banned after engaging in chaos and destruction of school properties after the Integrated Science 2 paper.

In a statement, President Akufo-Addo believes the dismissal of the students is enough but the ban on the students from not taking part in the remaining WASSCE papers must be reconsidered.
