The communications officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has said President Akufo-Addo was not validly elected in the 2020 elections.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo who was the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the last year elections didn’t had the 50.1% as the Constitution demands.[ads2]
In a response to a question on JoyNews ahead of the Supreme Court verdict on the election petition, Sammy Gyamfi said that, “Let me repeat, for us, whichever way the verdict goes, we are very clear in our minds that the people of this country have gotten to know the truth and that truth is that candidate Akufo-Addo was not validly elected as the President of Ghana.”[ads3]
