Buaben Asamoa, a former Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said Alan Kyeremanten is the best candidate to transform Ghana.
Alan Kyeremanten, former Minister of Trade and Industry is contesting for the NPP flagbearership position after three attempts.
Mr Kyeremanten is considered as one of the favorites for the party’s top position alongside Vice President of the republic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who recently disclosed his intentions.
Even though Dr Bawumia has received huge support from most NPP MPs, Buaben Asamoa who is also the spokesperson for Alan Kyeremanten believes the former Ghana’s ambassador to the United States is the right person to transform the country’s economy.
“Alan is a game changer and he is the one that will bring transformation and we will move away from the IMF and the politics that we have”, he said on Citi FM.
Nine members of the NPP including former Food and Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, and Francis Addai Nimo have declared their intention to contest in the party’s flagbearership race slated for November 4.
