The former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has been expelled from the party.
Mr. Jacobs has been sacked from the party due to misconduct and anti-party behaviors according to a statement from the party signed by its General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia.[ads2]
The statement indicate that the decision was taken after a meeting by the Functional Executive Committee of the party on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
He has therefore been directed to return all party properties in his possession whereas his moneys, dues and subscription to party shall be fortified.[ads3]
This comes few days after the renowned politician announced his resignation from the party.
