Former Board Member of Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Abu Lamin has urged the Normalization Committee to confirm his outfit participation in CAF inter-club competition next year.
The GFA Normalization Committee on Friday 19th October, 2018 had a consultative meeting with Premier league and Division One club owners and administrators for the way forward of Ghana football.
A decision was taken after the meeting that no club will represent Ghana in 2019 CAF inter-club competition due to the halting of the Ghana Premier league.

However, Alhaji Lamin has also waded into the debate saying the Normalization Committee should confirm Kotoko participation in Africa because the team has the best of technical handlers who are capable to go to Africa in 2019.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with Kotoko participating in 2019 CAF inter-club competition because they have the best of technical brains who can take them to Africa”, he told TOP FM.
Meanwhile, Medeama Sporting Club who showed interest to participate in Africa next year have also petitioned the Normalization Committee to reconsider its decision of pulling out of 2019 CAF inter-club competitions.
