Chief Executive Officer of Medeama Sporting Club, James Essilfie has affirmed that the club will be paying whatever owed to Sekondi Hasaacas FC regarding the transfer of Amos Korankye.
The Tarkwa based side signed the right back midway through the 2015-16 season of the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup from Sekondi Hasaacas FC and have failed to pay the transfer fee believed to be ยข30,000.00.
Amos Korankye played in both competitions for the Yellow and Mauves.
3 seasons after joining Medeama SC, Amos Korankye has parted company with the Tarkwa based side.
Medeama SC have failed to pay a penny from the transfer fee to Sekondi Hasaacas FC according to CEO, James Essilfie who was speaking on Connect 97.1FM.
“Truth be told we have not paid anything from the transfer fee of Amos Korankye to Hasaacas FC. The challenges we had regarding our participating in the CAF Confederation Cup is the reason we haven’t been able to pay.
“I have been talking to the IMC Chairman, Paa Kwesi(Samuel Arbuah) about the fee, we haven’t paid a penny, but we are currently waiting for the transfer fee of Kwesi Donsu and Ibrahim Yaro, if their transfer fees arrive, we will pay all that we owe Hasaacas FC” – James Essilfie told Connect FM.
