- Ghana’s representatives in the CAF Women’s Champions League Ampem Darkoa Ladies, failed to book a place in the final after losing on penalties against Sporting Club Casablanca of Morocco in the semifinals at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pédro, Cote I’voire, last night.

Throughout the remainder of the game, both teams had numerous opportunities to score but were unable to do so, with Casablanca coming closest.The scoreline remained the same even after 30minutes of extra time, therefore the winner had to be declared through penalty shoot-outs.
Ampem Darkoa missed three of their spots one more than that of their Moroccan opposition as they suffered a 3-2 loss in the shootout.
