Wafu Zone B Champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC, paid a courtesy call to the president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, yesterday, October 25th, 2023.
The champions had the rare privilege of visiting the First Gentleman of the Land, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.
Nana Addo shared in their successes, gave the team GHc 500,000, charged them to bring the trophy home, and promised them more if they managed to lift the trophy.
The Ghana Football Association was represented by Accra Garfa boss Samuel Aboabire and ExCo member Eugene Noel.
Deputy Interior Minister out of Portsts, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, and Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, were also present.
Meanwhile, the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is scheduled to kick off on Matchday 1 on the weekend of October 27–30, 2023.
In the Champions League, they will face AS FAR, AS Mande, and the Hurricanes in Group B.
