Andre Dede Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, is almost ready to rejoin the French Ligue 1 side Le Havre.
The former Nottingham Forest star is reportedly in advanced negotiations to return to the French top flight with a Ligue 1 team, according to French Football Journalist Sebastien Denis.
Ayew, the player with the most caps for Ghana’s national men’s football team, was briefly with Nottingham Forest on loan but hasn’t had a club since the 2022/2023 season ended after his contract expired.
After playing for Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1, Ayew moved to Swansea City in the English Premier League. He moved to West Ham United as a result of his excellent performances.
Dede Ayew, who hasn’t had a club for more than two months, has been called up to the Black Stars team for their November 17 and November 21 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
