Andre Ayew has been named the deputy captain for English Championship side Swansea City.

The 33-year old has been handed the vice captain role following his on and off the pitch contribution for the team.
Steve Cooper who is the manager for The Jacks confirmed the news, indicating that midfielder Matt Grimes is the main skipper with Ayew as his deputy.

The Black Stars captain has been influential this season for Swansea City, scoring four goals in all competitions this season.
