The much anticipated Essikado Kuntum Community gala has come to the climax with coach Wisdom Agbleke side Anoe Community winning the tournament.
The Champions of the one-day tournament whipped the hosting community Essikado 3:5 on penalties after a goalless open play.
Anoe who were among the underdogs in the tournament booted Ridge out in the Semi-finals by 6:5 on penalties whereas Essikado also knocked Mempeasem out by 5:3 on penalties in the Semi-finals as well.
The win amidst jubilation from the entire inhabitants of the Anoe community after winning the tournament for the first time in the history of the community.
Speaking to www.kyfilla.com, coach Wisdom Agbleke who won the last edition with Kojokrom expressed his delight after winning the competition for the second consecutive times with Anoe.
Also the Western Regional manager for Joy Industries Giovanni Osei Tutu Agyemang expressed his profound gratitude to the participating communities for honoring their invitation even though the notification was sent to them late.
