Three persons have been arrested in the ongoing Arise Ghana demonstration at the Kwame Nkrumah interchange in Accra.
These demonstrators are said to have been part of the chaos that took place during the demonstration.
What started as a peaceful protest in the morning ended in chaotic scene when the demonstrators begun to pelt stones on the police officers according to multiple reports.
Some police officers and the demonstrators were injured during the chaotic scene with teargas all over the place.

The two-day demonstration which started today, June 28 2022 was to protest against the persistent and astronomical hikes in fuel prices, the introduction of E-levy among others.
