Kumasi Asante Kotoko as part of preparations ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign wanted to engage Togolese giant FC Gomido in a friendly.
But according to Kyfilla.com source at the management of the team, the friendly has been cancelled with a reason still unknown.
The Porcupine Warriors are in Takoradi for a 10 day camping and wanted to play the Togolese side in a friendly which was slated for Sunday 18th November, 2018 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko will play the winner of the Cameroon FA Cup in the CAF Confederation Cup prelims on November 28, 2018 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before they travelled to Cameroon on the following week for the return leg.
The Kumasi based team will represent Ghana in the 2018-19 season of the CAF Confederation Cup as the holders of last season FA Cup because football activities in the country has been put on hold.
