Kumasi Asante Kotoko reliable defender Daniel Darkwah has undergone a successful shoulder surgery at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The former Aduana Stars suffered the injury after colliding with a teammate during training.
News that earlier circulated on the internet indicates that the management of the Porcupine Warriors were refusing to raise funds for his operation but the team later squashed the report, hinting that they have settled things amicably with the defender.
According to the Communication department of the team, Daniel Darkwah will be out of action for 6-8 weeks.
