Asante Kotoko duo of Evans Owusu and Habib Mohammed would report late to the camp of the Ghana U23 side due to the Porcupines’ CAF Champions League campaign.
The duo are part of the 24-man squad invited to the Black Meteors camp by head coach Ibrahim Tanko for the Africa U23 Championship double-legged qualifier against Algeria.
According to report, Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen want to have all his arsenals available for the CAF Champions League second-leg tie against Kano Pillars in Kumasi.
Report from the camp of Asante Kotoko indicates that, the duo will only be available for the Black Meteors second-leg game against Algeria in Algiers.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko’ side will host their Algerian counterpart on September 5, 2019 for the first leg before the reverse fixture in Algiers.
The winner of the two-legged tie will gain one of the slots to the African U-23 Championship which will be staged in Egypt.
