Yussif Chibsah has revealed plans by the immediate past Asante Kotoko Management to terminate the Strike contract.
The George Amoako led administration of Asante Kotoko and Strike have been partners for the past two years.
Chibsah who is behind brokering the kits deal for the Kumasi-based side revealed to Light FM that the previous administration has wrote on a possible cancelation of the deal.

He further stated that the annulment wasn’t made possible because of the emergence of thr Covid-19 Pandemic.
According to former Asante Kotoko midfielder, the newly established board has granted Strike permission to produce and sell samples of their nose masks and any other paraphernalia because it’s enshrined in their contract.

“It’s enshrined in our contract with the club(Kotoko) that we have the permission to sell such souvenirs and paraphernalia of Kotoko. We presented our samples to the board where the approval was given to us to proceed.
“The immediate past management wrote to us about a possible contract termination, but couldn’t finalise because of the Covid-19” – Yussif Chibsah told LIGHT FM
