Ghana’s only representative in the ongoing CAF inter-club competition, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have opened accreditation process for the various media houses who wished to cover their CAF Confederation Cup match against Zambian giants ZESCO United.
The Porcupine Warriors will host the defending champions of the Zambia Premier League in the CAF Confederation Cup second group stages game on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi
The club requires that media houses, who wish to send representatives to cover the game, send in their formal requests through info@asantekotokosc.com to introduce their personnel.
Kyfilla.com understands, deadline for submission is Thursday, February 7, and the club states that the media accreditation is strictlyfor media personnel.
According to Samuel Sarfo Duku – Director of Communications for the Kumasi based team, the media houses must attached the letters of their representatives with passport size photographs or will be rejected.
He noted that Asante Kotoko has the discretion to decide the number of tags it will issue to applicants.
Sarfo Duku however added that applicants, and the number of tags to be given them, would be published on the club’s media handles before the date of collection.
“The tags will have security codes, and we will check at the gates to make sure no one enters the stadium with a fake tag,” he revealed.
