The entire Asante Kotoko playing body have been promised $5,100 dollars should they beat Zesco United in Ndola on Sunday.
According to reports, management of the Porcupines are very determined to secure CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final berth and believes the amount will ginger the playing body to amassed the three maximum points in Zambia on Sunday.
Kotoko, the only Ghanaian representative in the CAF Confederation Cup have their chances of qualifying to the next stage of the competition in jeopardy after sharing spoils with Al Hilal Omdurman at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Sunday.
Coach C.K Akonnor and his charges expect to fly to Zambia this afternoon to prepare for the last group game against Zesco United at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday.
Kotoko need a win in Zambia on Sunday to make it to the quarter-finals stage of the competition whilst Zesco United are already out even though they have a game at hand against Kotoko.
The Porcupines currently sit third in the group C table with seven points whilst Zesco United languish at the bottom with four. Nkana lead the pack with nine points whereas Al Hilal Omdurman after the 1:1 stalemate with Kotoko place second with eight points.
