Kumasi Asante Kotoko as part of preparations ahead of the 2018-19 season of the CAF Confederation cup will play Ivorian giant Asec Mimosas in an international friendly.
The Kumasi based team will arrive in Takoradi today November 6 for a 10 day camping.
But kyfilla.com understands, the management of the Porcupine Warriors are planning to engage Asec Mimosas at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on the 18th November, 2018.
The friendly encounter is to strengthen the team for their big task next season after being granted the permission to represent Ghana in the 2018-19 CAF Confederation cup even though league season in the country has been put on hold.
Kotoko are the holders of the last season FA Cup and this makes them a legitimate club to represent the country in the next season’s CAF inter club competition.
