Head of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Medical Team, Dr. Jerry Pratt Newton has been granted a medical leave with immediate effect, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
According to information gathered, the management member requested for a free space on Monday to further his education.
His plea has however been granted by the management of the club which takes effect immediately.
Dr. Newton was appointed and put in-charge of the club’s medical department at the birth of the current George Amoako-led Management that took office last year.
The appointment, which was made by Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei, marked the second coming for the physiotherapist, who also served under the erstwhile Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong and Samuel Opoku Nti administrations.
