Ghana Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa was in action as she lasted 80 minutes and also scored for her club, FC Juarez Femenil in a 1-0 win against Tijuana.
Asantewaa’s strike was the only goal of the match for FC Juárez Femenil in their hard-fought 1:0 away win over Tijuana Club in the Mexico Liga MX Feminil Apertura round 16.
Grace Asantewaa scored her goal in the 61st minute to win all three points for her club. She exhibited interpositional play and strength as she marshaled the midfield to make sure the three points were secured.
FC Juárez Femenil are currently 8th on the league table with 26 points after 16 matches.
