Dates for aspiring and talented football players to sign with Ashantigold Sporting Club have been released.
The goal of justifying your inclusion is to attract football players who are eager to further develop their skills as the team looks to make a spectacular comeback.
The dates for the justification of your inclusion are Wednesday, May 22, and Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Ofori Stadium in Obuasi. Authorities claim that free lodging will be available.
The reporting or starting time is 7 am to 12 pm. The text in their post says,
Agoo Osono , Ashantigold Sporting Club are delighted to announce to the general public that there will be a 3-day justify your inclusion from Wednesday, 22nd May to Friday 24 May,2024. This will be done to select some quality players and add them to our already existing pool of exceptional talents .
Due to their alleged involvement in betting and match manipulation, the club received a 10-year ban from all football-related activities.
The suspension resulted from allegations of match manipulation that surfaced after a thrilling match between Ashanti Gold and Inter Allies in the 2020–21 league season. Both teams were demoted to Division Two as a result of the allegations.
Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, President of Ashanti Gold, has stated that talks concerning the transfer of ownership of the football team based in Obuasi are currently taking place between AngloGold and a potential Member of Parliament (MP).
