The Accra High Court has fined former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan GH₵1 million for his malicious prosecution of journalist Anthony Sarfo. Gyan was fined because the court determined that he had maliciously pursued journalist Anthony Sarfo.Gyan first filed a lawsuit against Sarfo and four other people for extortion after claims that the former Black Stars captain had a woman named Sarah Kwablah.
