Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe lost to Nick Ball on unanimous decision in a WBC featherweight bout in the United Kingdom. The bout was a final eliminator for the WBC featherweight title, and Nick Ball won by commanding scores of 118-109, 119-108, and 116-111 making him the next in line for a WBC featherweight title shot. The body of late Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena arrived in Ghana on Friday night after he passed away last week Saturday. On November 11, 2023, during a league game between his team, Egnatia FC, and Partizani Tirana, the striker collapsed and was later declared dead.
