Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have separated after 30 years together. According to a report the divorce is “totally cordial, stable and friendly”. The report claimed that Guardiola drifted apart from Cristina after working in different countries for at least five years. The couple met in 1994 and got married in 2014 near Barcelona. They have three children together: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17. It is understood that Serra has been living in Barcelona full time with one of three daughters, Valentina, while Guardiola stays in Manchester.
Eight people were wounded in a hammer attack at a university in Tokyo on Friday, 20 January, 2024. A 22-year-old female student was arrested at the scene, Japanese media said. All those hurt were conscious, according to public broadcaster NHK, which cited police sources as saying that the afternoon attack took place at Hosei University’s Tama Campus. NHK and other media outlets said the attacker, a woman sociology student, had swung a hammer during a class.

Ghana Football Association has appointed Bibiani Gold Stars Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso as the new Head Coach of the Male National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets. The experience coach brings a wealth of experience to the table. Coach Manso’s coaching career has taken him to a number of club sides, namely Stade d’Abidjan, Asante Kotoko, Karela United, B. A. United, Kessben FC (currently Medeama SC) and Nkoranza Warriors. He is currently the Head Coach of Premier League club, Bibiani Gold Stars. Sad news as the former management member of Sekondi Hasaacas Mr. Joseph Ofori-Acquah passes on. He was very instrumental during his tenure at Hasaacas. Mr. Acquah, was also a staff of the Takoradi Technical University where he is popularly known by both students, staffs and non teaching staffs. He is said to have passed away at the Ahamadijjah Hospital in Takoradi on the January 4th, 2025.
