Asante Kotoko midfielder Godfred Asiamah scored one of the most wonderful free kick ever in African football against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League today at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium in Nigeria. The midfield dynamo netted the second goal for the Porcupine Warriors in the 67th minute with a stunning free kick which earned him applause from the spectators. The GNPC Foundation have handed over a six unit classroom block to the Daboase Senior High Technical School in the Wassa East district of the Western region. The facility is to provide relief and serene atmosphere for about 300 pupils who prior to GNPC Foundation’s intervention were learning under a dilapidated and old-fashioned school block.
