Ghana international Kevin – Prince Boateng was unveiled on Friday by Italian Seria A side Sassuolo after joining them from German outfit Frankfurt. The 31- year old signed a two- year deal on Thursday . He was unveiled on Friday afternoon at the Mapei headquarters in Sassuolo with the CEO . Boateng is making a return to the Seria A in ltaly with previous stints with Genoa and AC Milan He was a member of Ghana’s Black Stars team for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and Brazil respectively.

Mr Samson Adamu, the Competitions Director for the Confederation of African Football (CAF), will arrive in Ghana for a three- day working visit to assess progress being made towards the staging of the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ghana later this year. The Italian side Sassuolo confirmed the signing of the Ghanaian international after the player underwent all the necessary formalities. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Nigerian Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick as their new 1st Vice President following the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi. Amaju Pinnick is the current president of the Nigeria Football Federation. He was elected to the position in September 2014. The former Ghana Football Association President resigned from his position after being ban by FIFA for alledged corrupt practices which was made captured in the Anas expose on Ghana Football.
