Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila has been given his favorite no. 37 jersey at Serbian Superliga side Red Star Belgrade. The 25-year-old joined the Red and White side last week on a season-long loan deal from Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia. He was signed as replacement for Ghanaian defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong who recently joined Hungarian club Ferencvarosi TC. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Nigerian Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick as their new 1st Vice President following the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi. Amaju Pinnick is the current president of the Nigeria Football Federation. He was elected to the position in September 2014.
