Ghana Black Stars defender Rashid Sumaila has joined Serbian Superliga side Red Star Belgrade on a 1 year loan deal.  The 25 – year old completed his move on Thursday after passing medicals. He has joined the Serbian giants as replacement for his Compatriot Abraham Akwasi Frimpong who recently joined Hungarian side Ferencvarosi TC. Sumaila made sixteen (16) appearances for Al Qadsia in the Kuwaiti top-flight last season. He was part of  Ghana’s 23 man squad for the 2014 FIFA World cup in Brazil.

Former West Africa Football Academy(WAFA) midfielder Majeed Ashimeru have joined Swiss Super League side St.Gallen on a season -long loan move from Austrian giant Red Bull Salzburg. The 20- year-old spent his maiden season in Europe on loan at lower tier side Austria Lustenau after completing the season at elite side Wolfsberger AC. He made a combined 27 appearances last season during his loan outings at Lustenau and Wolfsberger.
