Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have announced a sponsorship deal with Sub Sharan African subsidiary Kwese sports TV. The Dawu based club inked two years contract with the aforementioned media hub after a successful negotiations. The Ghana Football Association has fixed March 3, 2018, as the date for the commencement of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier league season. The Premier league had been scheduled to kickoff on February 11,2018, but was postponed after a court injunction by Accra Great Olympics. However, following an Accra High Court’s decision not to grant the application during its hearing on Wednesday, the GFA announced the kick – date during its Ordinary Congress, which was held Wednesday afternoon in Accra. Ahead of the kick off, the new season will be launched next Monday at the forecourt of the GFA at 6:00p.m.
Ghana’s representatives in this year’s CAF Confederations Cup, Kumasi Asante Kotoko touchdown at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra on Thursday afternoon after their exit from the competition.
