Skipper of Ghana’s Female Under 17 side, Abdulai Mukurama led the University of Development Studies team to win the 2019 Ghana Universities Sports Authority Mini Games Female Football tournament. The Northern Ladies attacker alongside her UDS team mates snatched 12 points to emerge as winners of the tournament. The 2018 FIFA U-17 Female World Cup Top-Scorer scored three goals to help her side win the coveted title. University of Development Studies were 5-1 winners against University of Education, Winneba, pipped host University of Cape Coast 1-0 and thumped University of Ghana 2-0 to emerge as winners.

Ghanaian forward Tijani Mohammed donated sets of jerseys, track suits, balls and other sporting equipment to the juvenile side of Second Division Side, Future Stars.
