Coach Yaw Preko is full of confidence ahead of Ghana’s Black Starlets qualifiers at the WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament which also serves as qualifiers to the 2019 AFCON U-17. Kumasi Asante Kotoko today, September 4 announced a 12-member communication team that will spread out information concerning the Club. The 12 member communication team is the most in Ghana’s football history and will be spreading the official news of the club. These were the names: Nana Kwame Dankwah, who is the Greater Accra circle council and deputy Accra rep, Lucy Josephine Andoh, Twum Barimah, Nkoo Joseph and Seth Nii Darko. Black Stars commenced training at Ethiopia capital Addis Ababa ahead of the all important 2019 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers against the Harambee Stars of Kenya. Coach Kwesi Appiah welcomed some players and quickly zoomed into training ahead of Saturday, September 8 encounter at Nairobi. Faustina Ampah will be gearing up for her second campaign in UEFA’s flagship competition, the 2018-19 UEFA Women’s Champions League, after her Belarusian side, FC Minsk was drawn alongside Cypriot side Barcelona FA, Slovenian giants Olimpija Ljubiljana and Serbian League winners Slovan Bratislava.
