Oil and Gas exploration company, Tullow Oil have on Monday, May 8, 2023 cut sod for the construction of a 12-unit boys dormitory at the Takoradi Senior High School otherwise known as Tadisco. The project financed by Tullow Oil with Vital Creations as the constructor is expected to be completed within twelve months. Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have suspended midfielder Joseph Amoako until further notice. The 20-year old has been suspended following his misconduct on social media which the finds it as unacceptable. A statement from the club reads, “Joseph Amoako, 20, has been suspended indefinitely pending a final determination through the club’s disciplinary procedures. “This is due to his misconduct on social media which the club finds unacceptable.” Amoako started his career with Central Region-based club Young Red Bull, a lower-tier side in Division Two League. The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reinstated the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School in the Western Region, Kenneth Agbomadze effective today, May 8, 2023. Mr Agbomadze was interdicted by GES to pave way for further investigation into alleged collection of illegal fees in the school. The Ministry of Roads and Highways through the Ghana Highway Authority has announced the temporarily closure of the Ewusiejo section of the Takoradi-Agona road on the N1 Highway.
