Future Stars have won the STMA zone of the Western Region Club Owners Association tournament after beating Dolphins 7:6 on penalty shootouts. Dolphins FC had the opener through Akwasi Adjei strike in the 2nd minutes of the first half but Mustapha Mamudu had the equalizer for Future Stars from a spot at the 33rd minutes in the first half. The competition which was mainly supported by the European Union is to promote youth participation in democracy.
