Asante Kotoko had their first training section at the Sekondi Sports Stadium. The Kumasi based side arrived with 30 players; 4 goalkeepers and 26 outfield players. Coach Charles Akunnor led the players through a short shake up. Maxwell Baako, Ismael Abdul Ganiu, Martin Antwi, Yaw Frimpong, Muntari Tagoe and Stephen Nyarko had their first training section with Asante Kotoko. Sogne Yacouba and Naber Keita are the two players that were missing from the team’s training. The side will engage in friendly games with some selected clubs in the region.
