The sacked Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson, Charlotte Osei, awarded contracts far in excess of the approved amount by the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), the committee that recommended her removal has stated. An Accra High Court has granted an injunction against officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), thereby paving the way for the Registrar General to be appointed the official liquidator of the local football governing body.
