NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wugon in the last general elections, John Dumelo has called on the Awayaso West Municipal Assembly to provide the municipality with adequate streetlights.
The renowned Ghanaian actor has made the call following the recent attacks by robbers in the municipality especially at night.[ads2]
Mr. Dumelo who engaged in several developmental works in the municipality prior to the last December polls, also pleaded with the Ayawaso West Municipality to clear a bush on the GIMPA – Fiesta Royal road, where he believes most robbers hide to attack motorists at night.
He emphatically stated that should the municipality failed to provide the streetlights and clear the bush, he as a philanthropist and someone with the well-being of the municipality at heart will do them.[ads3]
On his social media page, John Dumelo wrote that, “Dear Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly, can you please provide adequate street lights and also clear the Bush on the right coming from Gimpa towards fiesta Royal? That’s where robbers hide to attack motorists at night. Please clear it or I will. Thanks. “[ads5]
