Western region leading female act, Ayma Wendy has gotten a nomination in the 2019 Rigworld Training Center Western Region Music Awards.
The songstress was among the lists of 25 categories for the 3rd edition of the prestigious awards scheme organized by Westline Entertainment.
The Award-winning afro beat and highlife sensation, for the second time was nominated in the ‘Female Vocalist Act of the Year’ category and faces a huge competition from the likes of Shola Babe and Susie Arthur.
Ayma Wendy was nominated for her popular track “Ware Me” and will be going into the main awards show as the last year’s winner of the same category.
Speaking to Kyfilla.com after her nominations, Ayma Wendy believes, she is humbled and looking forward to win the award for the second time in a row.
The awards scheme is to honour hardworking artistes and media personals in the region for their impeccable works in the year, 2018 under review.
This year’s edition of the much talked about awards scheme in the Western region, which is under the tagline “The Best Comes from the West” is scheduled to come off on May 4, 2019 at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi.
