Mukesh Thakwani, the Chief Executive Officer of the largest steel and iron manufacturing company in West Africa, B5 Plus Limited has been honored with an Entrepreneurship and Nation Builder award.
The renowned Indian businessman was bestowed the honor at the second edition of the national governance and business leadership awards which was held in Accra recently.
Mr Thakwani was given the award following his enormous contributions towards the growth of the country’s economy.[ads2]
Speaking after receiving the award, the multiple award-winning business leader noted that the recognition will go a long way to keep not only him but the entire staff of B5 Plus Limited to work harder as the company target to takeover the West African market by storm.
“It is very important to say that we [B5 Plus Limited] are bringing progress to the economy in our little way but at the same time been a tax compliant making sure that we are here to deliver the best quality goods at a competitive rate to the whole Ghanaian and West African markets and with that after we are sure of making a huge impact on the other African markets as well”, Mr Thakwani said.
He reiterated that his ambition is to make B5 Plus Limited the household name when it comes to steel and iron manufacturing in Africa.[ads4]

He concluded by entreating Ghanaians to purchase locally made products to sustain businesses and create more jobs for the youth in the country.[ads3]
