Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High School has won this year’s Western Regional Project Citizen Competition.
The competition which was mainly supported by the European Union is to promote youth participation in democracy.
The win came as very surprising as many touted either Archbishop Porter Girls Senior High School and the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) to lift the ultimate.
Baidoo Bonsoe narrowly won the competition after accumulating 261 points whereas first runners-up Ahantaman Girls Senior High School had 259 points.
On the other hand, second runners -up Archbishop Porter Girls Senior High School had 200 points whereas Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) axed 199 points.
Mpohor Senior High School had 189 points to secure the fifth position whiles Axim Senior High School had 135 points to sit sixth after the competition.
