Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has rewarded the viral taxi driver who returned a passenger’s Gh¢8,000.
The passenger who is a fish monger boarded the bus at the Mallam Atta Market in Accra on Friday to her house.
After seeing the money in his car, the driver, identified as Kwesi Ackon, returned the money to the passenger at her house.
And as a sign of reward, the Vice President has dashed Kwesi Ackon Gh¢20,000 for his honest behavior.
Not only the Vice President, the Chief Executive Officer of Salt Media – the operators of Salt FM, Ohene Kwame Frimpong has also gifted the honest taxi driver an amount of Gh¢7,800.
Since the video of Kwesi Ackon’s honest gesture popped up on social media, the Church of Pentecost member has won the heart of many across the globe.
