Bechem United values defender Kofi Agbesimah at $50,000, according to the club’s director of operations.
The 26-year-old is one of the most sought-after players following his swashbuckling performance for the Hunters last season.
Agbesimah has been consistent for Bechem United since joining the club in 2018 from Bectero FC.
The enterprising defender has emerged as a transfer target for several clubs, including Nsoatreman FC, Hearts of Oak, and others.
And according to the club’s Director of Operations, Francis Addae, Bechem United will not accept a transfer fee below $50,000 for the defender.
“We have informed Hearts of Oak about our player’s transfer fee. We have set a price tag of $50,000, so if they really need him, they must be able to meet our demands. In his opinion, he deserves such a high amount because he is one of the best center-backs in the country right now,” he said on Kumasi FM.
Agbesimah has five-and-a-half months left on his current contract.
The defender has made 125 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 6 goals and providing 1 assist.
