Hulk Hogan, a former WWE star, has disclosed that he has been baptized and called that day the “greatest day of my life.”
The retired professional US wrestler, 70, announced the news by posting a video on Instagram of him being dunked into a small tank of water at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida.
Wearing a silver cross necklace, matching bandana, and a white fitted T-shirt, Hogan was seen grinning as he came out of the water and hugged the man who helped him. He wrote,
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life.”
“No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was the most popular wrestler of the 1980s, becoming famous worldwide for his long-running WWE career.
He is also well known as a TV personality, playing himself in shows such as The Goldbergs and American Dad and appearing in films such as Mr. Nanny, No Holds Barred, and Rocky III.
He announced his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel, in February 2022, following an 11-year marriage. From 1983 to 2009, Hogan was married to his first wife, Linda Hogan. Nick, 33, and Brooke, 35, are the former couple’s children.
He posted a video of their small wedding ceremony on social media in September, confirming to Sky Daily that he had tied the knot.
