“I was better than Cristiano Ronaldo during my prime. Although I was not able to achieve what he has annexed in world football but I was far far better than him”, He told Accra based Zylofon FM.
However, the top scorer for the 2012 GHALCA Top Four tournament revealed that, his ambitions was to clinch the overall FIFA World best footballer award but could not see his dream come to pass.
“My target was to win the world best player, that was my main target but I was not able to do so”, He revealed.
Dong- Bortey, who was part of Ghana’s team that won bronze medal in the FIFA U17 World Cup at New Zealand in 1999 was tipped for greatness after exhibiting an incredible performance at the tournament.
