The leading betting company in Ghana, Betway’s innovation of unearthing talent across the length and breadth of the country on last Saturday landed in Accra precisely at the Legon Ajax park.
Hundreds of young aspiring footballers turned out to showcase their God-giving talent on the day to gain selection.
After the long day, former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah who is the brand ambassador for Betway Ghana expressed his excitement on the talent that showed up to showcase their abilities.
In an interview with the press, Stephen Appiah reiterated that Ghana has abundance of God giving footballing talent and Betway would help to unleash those talents to the world.
“Am surprised about the talent that came to showcase their abilities here and selection of players was very difficult for us but we managed to select the best ones”
“We have been in Tamale, Sunyani, Kumasi and Cape Coast and I can say Ghana has enough talents but discovering them has become difficult but I can assure you that Betway will help them out”, he said.
Meanwhile, former Railstars Academy midfielder Obed Appiah won last years’ overall best player and he’s currently plying his trade for Guinea-Bissau outfit Sporting Club de Bissau on loan.
