The Black Queens begun the race to defend the WAFU Zone B title with a dazzling 2:0 victory over their counterpart from Senegal.
FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup topscorer, Abdulai Mukarama and Hasaacas Ladies midfielder, Evelyn Badu had the two fascinating goals for the Black Queens as they smashed the Senegalese in the group opener.
The 2:0 victory for the defending champions of the competition, place them second in group A with host country, Ivory Coast leading the pack after humiliating Togo in the afternoon.
Hasaacas Ladies pivotal defender, Janet Egyir who was solid at the defense of the Queens was voted as the Woman Of The Match of the wary encounter today.
