Ghana’s senior women’s team will know opponents for next year’s TotalEnergies Women’s African Cup of Nations on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Ghana failed to make the last edition after a 2-1 aggregate defeat to Nigeria in the preliminary stage. The Ghanaian team led by Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoe lost 2-0 away and won at home 1-0.
This edition will be hosted by Morocco, which will mean the North African nation will host the tournament for the second successive occasion.
