The Ghana Football Association has revealed Baba Yara Sports Stadium as the venue for the Black Stars’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Madagascar.
On Friday, November 17, 2023, Ghana will kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
After making it to the most recent World Cup in Qatar in 2022, the Black Stars will want to start the World Cup qualifying season well in their pursuit of another World Cup berth.
The World Cup qualifiers will also serve as a preparatory game for the AFCON 2023 which will be played in Abidjan Cote D’Ivoire.
Meanwhile,Madagascar’s head coach, Romuald ‘Roro’ Rakotondrabe, has announced his 24-man squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
Ghana beat Madagascar 3-0 in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium last year and will look forward to yet another victory over them.
