Ghana Football Association gaffer Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that Ghana Black Stars will engage in two friendly games before the World Cup kick start.
Ghana who failed to gain a slot at the 2018 World Cup have not engage in any activities after the World Cup qualifying campaign .
But President for the GFA Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi has divulge that Ghana Black Stars will engage in two friendlies with Iceland and Japan in June.
According to him [Kwesi Nyantakyi] the World Cup bound duo will bear the cost of the games and the money Ghana will get in the games will be using for the plane tickets and paying the players .
“In June we will play two friendlies, we will play with Iceland and Japan and they are going to bear all the cost of the games.The money we will be making from the game will be used to pay the players and the plane tickets , so there will be no gains from the games’, He said.
President Kwesi Nyantakyi is hopeful the national team will host countries like Germany and Brazil in an international friendly in the near future.
‘We are praying that it gets to a time where we get sponsors who can help bring Brazil to Accra or even Germany to Kumasi for a game’.
