Ghanaian international Doris Boaduwaa continues to set new milestones with her new European side, Spartak Subotica in the Union of European Football Association’s Women’s Champions League.
The former Hasaacas Ladies Football Club forward has scored three goals in two games to ensure Spartak Subotica make the round two of the UWCL for the first time in the history of the Club and the history of Serbian football.
Boaduwaa, 20, is currently three goals shy of entering the Club’s top six top scorers in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Former winner Arsenal and big name Juventus are now out of the tournament.
Spartak Subotica will for the first time play the two-legged round two encounter to be played in October where teams like Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Wolfsburg join in.
The winners then advance to the next stage of the tournament which is the group stage where they face Chelsea, Barcelona, Lyon and Bayern Munich.
September 15, 2023 is set aside for the draw of the round 2 games at Nyon, France while the first leg and second leg take place on 10/11 October and 18/19 October.
